10.5
We have both postinstall and postupgrade scripts - both of which run
the same command.
The command works fine by itself...it just does not execute after the
install.

Since the packagemaker that ships with 3.1 is still broken (as in

(whatever ships with Xcode 3.0 GM).
I'm using the terminal to build packages, but the GUI seems to work
fine as well. I declare everything in the pmdoc so I don't have to
have massive scripts. When I call a script for postinstall, it
doesn't run. Permissions are fine...this happens in some projects
but not others...using the same script.
Which OS do you target?
If you target 10.4 or earlier, a postinstall script will only be run
the first time you install the package it's embedded in.
