I would like to create a Meta-package that contains the Office Update 12.1.2 and am having a little difficulty. It is already a distribution Meta-Package, so why mess with it..right?
I can include it in my meta-package (using Iceberg) and the meta package builds correctly, but then the installer skipped the update. I see it in the log as being part of the package. Then I looked in the meta-package, and found that inside the office update all the packages were missing. I copied them from the original into it, and tried again, same thing.
Can Iceberg built a meta-package and include the distribution package inside of it, or are the two not compatible to mix and match like that?
The reason I ask, is I could use PAckagemaker....but it is choking on another pkg file I want to import.
