There are bugs with PackageMaker concerning relocatability.
PackageMaker
3.0.3 was released recently, with changes to try to fix some of
those bugs.
Bill,
Can you elaborate on these changes in 3.0.3, or point me at more
documentation on it? If this was documented in the release notes,
forgive me for not catching it.
I'd like to upgrade our automated build systems, and perhaps all
developer machines, but can't do so without good justification.
Knowing what changed in 3.0.3 will help make a case here.
I am sorry, but we didn't make release notes for 3.0.3. There were not
a lot of changes.
What I can recall is that we fixed a few crashers and made changes to
try to address the "relocation flag gets turned on" bugs that plague
everyone, much to our embarrassment.
Hope that helps somewhat.
