Display script status in PackageMaker 3 GUI

  • Thread-topic: Display script status in PackageMaker 3 GUI

Curious if there is a command (that could be added to a script) for sending
status info to PackageMaker 3 to show something in the GUI status display?
We're using a lot of postscripts and I would love to give the user some
better status. I've done this with iHook and Radmind before, but am
hoping/wishing there's a way with PackageMaker. So far, my searching is
coming up dry.

If I was guessing, I would bet against it, just because I notice that there
are a ton of postscripts that run on the Microsoft Office 2008 updates with
absolutely no feeback of what's happening. Hoping maybe they just haven't
added it yet. :P
