PackageMaker Permissions Inconsistency

Hi All,

I'm having an issue with PackageMaker in which I just can't figure out.

Running the exact same automated build script of the exact same code on
two pretty much identical 10.5.5 machines is generating two subtly
different packages.

The installer BOM builds as expected on one machine, but on the other,
certain files are given 0664 permissions when the -contents.xml in the
.pmdoc (generated by PackageMaker) specifies 0644. Other than this, the
packages generated appear identical.

The files given to the installer are identical, the OSes are at the same
revision, using ssh or not doesn't make any difference. Also, the
permissions on the destination directories are the same.

Can anyone explain what's going on here?

Thanks
