I found a temp file in the root of the NFS-mounted filesystem I was
storing my .packproj file on, with some files named "(Iceberg Attempting
to Save Project...)" or some such. I deleted this whole temp tree,
restarted Iceberg, and got rid of the hang. I'll document this better
if it happens again.
