I found another problem.
Just for being sure, I created another directory, "component" and put
the application file into it.
Now, the component directory contains another copy of the application
file in addition to the one in the build directory.
When I installed the app using the new installer, it referenced the one
in the component directory and printed this message :
diverted to <the path to the component directory>
And it still touches the one in the component directory which is
regarded as located in /Applications directory, while it is not.
Additionally, I tried removing the application file in the component
directory. Then it referenced the one in the build directory.
After that it shows the same behaviour.
( The installer package is targeted to the Tiger. I need to make an
installer which is for the both Tiger and Leopard. )
Thank you.

Hello, all.
Today, I found out that the bugreport page was down. So, I'm writing to
this mailing list.
Currently the Package Maker on my machine started behaving more abnormally.
The version is 3.0.3 (174)
First, please take a look at this screenshot.
<Fig.1>
I drag&drop a built application to the Package Maker's contents side
bar. So, it displays things like the above picture.
The install: is set to where the built application is, and the
Destination: contains where it is wanted to be installed.
On the contents pane, it looks like this.
<Fig.2>
So, there is no strange setting there.
The built installer behaves abnormally, and where it installs files are
different case by case.
When there is the built application file in the build/Release directory
The installer touches the one in build/release, instead of installing it
to the /Applications.
=> If the application file in build/release ( *.app) is deleted, it can
either :
- install the file to the /Applications folder correctly
- or install the file to the /Applications/Users/<user name>/<project
file path... > : This path doesn't exists at all.
How this problem can be solved?
I made a few installer packages. But whenever I make a installer package
for a specific application program, this happens.
( I attached an installer log file after replacing strings for company
name and product name. )
Thank you.
