Debugging plugins under 10.4

I am having a problem trying to debug my installer plugins under 10.4. On 10.5 I can set the Active executable to 'Installer' under 10.5 , but under 10.4 I can not seem to find the Installer executable. In 10.5 the path to the installer executable is

/System/Library/CoreServices/Installer.app

but I can not seem to find this in 10.4. Does anyone know where it is at, or what i need to do for 10.4 debugging of my Installer plugins?
