In the GUI, if you select the product package and go to the Configuration tab, there's a "User Sees:" drop-down menu.

Since the Installation Type pane cannot be suppressed, is there a way we can change the strings in that pane without affecting other installs?

Thanks,
Lora

does this only work through the command line? I've never noticed it in the gui.

Hi,

Is there a way to either customize the Installation Type pane (to something quite different than the easy install and custom install views) or suppress it altogether?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Officially, you can only make the following change:

- always display the custom install mode

- always display the easy install mode.
