A very wild guess: could it be an identifier thing?

Maybe the choices shares the same identifier and when the project is read again, it has some troubles figuring which choice corresponds to this identifier.

Not that I can detect.

I rebuilt the entire project from scratch, and it seems to function properly.

So maybe the problem is somehow “pilot error” -- since I haven’t heard of anyone else having the same problem....
