Just for the record, there looks like to be a new book available from Peachpit Press that deals with distribution and packaging. Mac OS X Deployment v10.5

There's at least one chapter about PackageMaker 3 that look more useful than the current Apple documentation (I just had time to read a few pages diagonally).

It's $59.99 and there's a 30% discount on their booth if you happen to be at Macworld Expo.

N.B: I don't own any share in Peachpit press, it's just that the book may be of some interest if you're working with PackageMaker.
