It seems when you add a package to a distribution, PM clears the
"Follow symbolic links" flag! It seems like PM should use whatever
flags are set for the package when it's included in the dist.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this in case others run into a
similar issue.
None of the flags are taken into account.
