Installing a launch agent on Mac OS X 10.5/10.6

Hi -

What's the best way to install a launch agent on Mac OS X 10.5 and later using PackageMaker? I know that the plist for agent needs to land in ~/Library/LaunchAgents or /Library/LaunchAgents, but it seems that the only real way to get it there is to write a post-installation script. Is there another/better way that I'm missing?

Thanks
Chris
