Could be a permissions issue – have you tried ‘sudo pkgutil –unlink pkgID’?

One more question, when I use pkgutil -unlink pkID, why there are many errors?
Unable to unlink 'Library/Frameworks/XXX.framework/Versions/A/Resources/English.lproj'. Error 1: Operation not permitted.
Unable to unlink 'System/Library/Extensions/XXX.kext/Contents/Resources/English.lproj'. Error 1: Operation not permitted.

How did you uninstall it?
If you just manually removed the files, you need to do `pkgutil --forget org.myorg.pkgid`
where "org.myorg.pkgid" is your packageid.
This removes the package receipt from the receipt database.

I meet a problem of package installation on Snow Leopard.
1. I install a package version 7.5.1 on Snow Leopard, then I uninstall it.
2. Now I install the package version 7.5.0( the same package name), but I cannot install it any more.
The installer prompts" XXX 7.5.0 can't be installed on this disk. A newer version of this software already exists on this disk."
This problem does not occur on Mac OS X 10.5.
I cannot find where Snow Leopard rememebers the 7.5.1.
