Hi all,
I'm trying to use PackageMaker to generate an installer from my automated build process, and so far, it's not worked that well... Here's the thing: the base for my installer is a .bundle, and the installer has to be customized with background, license, some requirements, and so on... Unfortunately, the list of files inside the bundle could change at any time (and will change).
What I tried is peeking into the .pmdoc bundle, and there I found an XML file listing all the files to be installed. So I made a small script that generates this XML with the file list of the latest build. Unfortunately, when calling PackageMaker from the command line to build the installer, it just crashes miserably...
So I was wondering, what solution could there be to have a PKG built from a dynamic list of files, and with all customizations ?
Thanks for your help
Fred
