Hi all,
I know what most of the values in a
Info.plist for a package are but there are two I am not sure and I was hoping
someone could help me out or point me to some documentation if some exists
(long shot I know).
The two values are:
IFPkgFormatVersion
IFPkgBuildVersion
Thanks!

Sounds good. I did some quick testing and Combination Search also found
the app in non-startup volumes.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the full blown testing.

I hadn't heard of these before so I tried searching for locators and
found a site which referred to locator definitions. Unfortunately it seems to
refer to an older UI and I can't find anything similar in PM 3.0.4. Would you
have any more details on locators?
In PackageMaker, in the Components pane, you can define them by
clicking on the Relocation… button. Basically, it used to be possible to just
create the skeleton of a bundle (the Contents/Resources/Info.plist hierarchy)
and then you could apply a search locator for this fake bundle. You just then
needed to add the additional files in the bundle hierarchy in the payload. I
don't see why that wouldn't work anymore.
Would they work across volumes?
As far as I've tested them, they don't.
