My experience is that the 'space required' figure
displayed by the installer is just plain unreliable when upgrading. I have
given up worrying about it - my software is not very large and most users have
big disks these days.

Now the issue got changed:
The additional space
requirement text is not at all appearing in installation type page of the
installer on Leopard. The same is working perfectly fine on Snow
Leopard.
Has somebody faced this issue then please
share
