It depends on the order that the Locales
are set for the user. The system cascades down the list when looking for
suitable translations.

Subject: Localization
Hi,
I am wondering how others tackle localization issues. I plan to
localize my strings to a limited set of locales. The user, though, will still
be able to choose any locale he likes in the OS and will end up seeing the
installer in that locale. My error messages will show up in the chosen
locale only if I had chosen to localize to it. Else, the user will see a weird
combination of two locales :one from the installer UI and one from my strings.
I'm trying my luck here but is there any way to force the installer UI
to launch in a given locale? If not, anyone knows what locale the application
will default to for my strings if it can't find the right locale.
