Question: This is probably painfully obvious
to other people... but, the user can choose which
volume to install on. If I use, say, a shell script, is there a way my
script can determine the volume, so I know what file to remove? Or, is
there an example of a script like that somewhere?

Can you add a preinstall script to search
out your .app bundle and 'rm -r' it from the
system?
