Title: applescript in packagemaker
I would think you would be able to make use of osascript
to run your AppleScript from a shell script. Type 'man osascript' (no
quotes) at the command line for details.

Subject: applescript in packagemaker
Hi, Can applescript be added as a pre-flight script in
packagemaker?? I have written an applescript(which is working fine) but when
included within the package as a pre-flight script, the installation is showing
failed. Is there a way to save the applescript. The extension is
myapplescript.scpt and while saving the applescript I have unchecked "Run-only"
option. Is there any different way of adding these applescripts. I am using
packagemaker 3.0.4 and target Mac OS X is 10.4
