I do not know this answer in enough detail without
trying to do it myself. You replied only to me, but please in the
future reply to the installer-dev mailing list so that others who are more
familiar can also reply.
What happens if a user who did not install the program
tries to use the program? Does the program fail because the different
user does not have the SQLITE files in his documents folder? The
name 'settings.rsd' does sound like a user preferences file to me.
I think your program should make or copy this file
the first time any user runs the program. This way any user can have
the SQLITE files created, not only the installing user. You also
needn't install again if the user deletes these files.
