Crud. It's still not working properly. The Owner for the plug-in is being set to system, not root. How can that be???
The owner in the payload is set to root, and the owner of the plug-in on my disk that Iceberg is picking up is set to Howard(Me).
Why is it getting set to system when installing? Is it because the parent folders are set to system on my machine? (I've got them set to root in Iceberg, I just noticed. Does that matter?)
Is this because of the bug regarding overwriting the permissions? How do I fix it?
Thanks,
Howard

So whatever caused it, it's working as expected now. It will be a first install for users, so it should work fine for them, too.

The permissions for the plug-in, as set in the Iceberg project, are drwxrwxr-x, but in the target machine they are set to drwxr-xr-x. I had thought that just setting them in Iceberg itself would set the permissions I specify. But that does not seem to be the case. Do I need to set the permissions on my own copy of the file before building the installer, in order to get the correct permissions set on the target?
