Hi Stephane ,
It's actually a typo error :-) # is actually on the same line as
!bin/sh. Not sure what's causing the script to fail during
installation. Any other suggestions ?

Is it a typo in the post or in your script that the # is one line
under !/bin/sh?
Because if it's the same in your script, you have found your culprit.
