hi,
i have noticed an issue regarding the permission/owner settings in
packagemaker.
in 10.6 payload is always compressed with permissions 40775 and
root:admin. building a package on a osx 10.7 (server edition) machine
causes the pkg payload to be compressed with 40775 and root:*wheel*.
strange: i have another standard 10.7 system that builds correctly with
root:admin and i have no idea what causes the different behavior.
googleing around lead me to this topic, which exactly describes the
phenomenon, i'm experiencing:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6798130/packagemaker-permissions-issues-in-os-x-lion
any ideas? thx in advance...
best,
dennis
