That's where I'm going to next. (I figure I'll also give darwin-drivers a try.) I figured there was an outside chance someone here knew about this since it involves installing a driver without rebooting.

I'm almost positive there's a way to do it - I just recently installed a 3rd party driver that didn't require a reboot.
