I asked the same question in the thread "how can an Installer plugin communicate with scripts?" and was told offline by some friends who work on the Installer team to use a file to transport the information (plugin writes it, script reads it).

How can get information from a custom panel which comes from an installer plug-in?
For example:
-          which radiobutton was selected by the user
-          checkbox was checked or unchecked by the user?

For example: if the user unchecks a checkbox, the installer should not install a file/folder?
