I am not sure about applications containing dynamic library.

But kernel extensions can't be distributed via Mac App Store according to Mac App Store Review Guidelines p.2.18 "Apps that install kexts will be rejected" (https://developer.apple.com/appstore/mac/resources/approval/guidelines.html).

Would it be legal for a self-contained sandboxed application to contain a dynamic library, so long as it's located inside the application bundle?

How about a kernel extension?
