Assuming you trust the end-user not to change anything (which is a
wrong assumption IMHO), the following solution could work but it
requires to edit the distribution script.

If your package is relocatable, you can probably just use the same
reference to this package for each choice and set the customLocation
attribute of the choice to the specific location of the choice.

I haven't tested that.
