I can't answer your question. However, I spent a lot of time earlier this year exploring the new accessibility preferences system, and I have released some code that does a lot with it. Perhaps it will give you some ideas. Download my Accessibility Testbench application, and/or its source code, here: <http://pfiddlesoft.com/accessibilitytestbench/index.html>. The source code is heavily commented.
Bear in mind that some bugs in the new accessibility system seem to have been fixed, certainly in Yosemite and perhaps in a recent release of Mavericks.
You might try asking your question on Apple's Accessibility mailing list, too. Some of the accessibility engineers lurk there. |
