Proxy Server on 9/X?

  • Subject: Proxy Server on 9/X?

Hi all,

I've got a setup where I'll be dialing into a Mac (acting as
a PPP host) in which I'd like to be able to act as a Proxy for the dialed-in machine.

Since this is part of a custom solution, I can't really afford to license other pre-existing 3rd party software to accomplish the proxy server part.

So, my question is... Is it possible to create a proxy server on 9/X that will grant the dialed-in machine access to the network/internet via the Mac? If so, where should I look to get started? I know OT supports multi-homing, but I've been told you have to dig to get to it...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Terence
