OSX PPPoE Debug

Is there a way to turn on PPPoE debug output in OSX (10.1.5)? I see in
the Darwin PPPoE extension source at
http://web.mit.edu/darwin/src/modules/ppp/Drivers/PPPoE that the PPPoE
client has some debug output, where is will show PADI, PADO, etc.,
errors. Is this in OSX as well, and if so, how do I enable it?
