Mac Newbie

Hi,

I am a newbie to network programming on the Mac. I have been BSD Socket programming using C and vi as my editor - yes it shows my age!

I am interested in using my new IMac's project builder, but I don't know Progressive C. Would someone here know of a good place to start learning how to write just plain C programs using project builder -- specifically I am about to write a new model of the "Rumor Routing" protocol. Obviously I can just go to the "Terminal" window and gcc my programs, but at some point I would like to progress. Anyone else made this transition and would offer lessons learned?

- Scott
