The information about the tags in the Darwin page is so useful! I never knew
how they get the tag names. Thanks very much.

I recompiled the kernel and the support for trtp seems not to be active,
however ktrace works now. Could you tell me what option I have to include to
get trtp working? I beleve it's under bsd/conf/MASTER but I don't know the
name of the option.

As for the socket problem I don't think there are any packets dropped. Two
reasons:
- The problem appears even if the server and the client are on the same host
and
- a packet trace on the server does not show any answers from the server
until the connection is ok.

I'm sorry that this email is a little long and that I bother you with new
questions....
