It's my understanding that under OS X, the BSD DNS lookup code only supports
doing one at a time and since OT is layered on top of BSD, it suffers the
same problem. Classic applications are NOT fettered by this problem
I believe some people work around it by basically using a library that
directly does DNS lookups [rather than using BSD to do it].
Finally, I don't believe anyone at Apple is permitted to say if and/or when
this behavior will be modified...
