Modem Script Advice

Hi everyone.

I am having a hell of a time with modem scripts, and I badly need some advice. At the moment I have two different version of my modem script. I made one with the Modem Script Generator in OS 9, and I made the other with the OS X Modem Script Generator.

I am using an Ericsson T39m, on fido / rogers AT&T ( im doing GPRS ). I connect to the phone over serial and IrDA and Bluetooth. using the os 9 modem script, I get connected at a wopping 2400 bps. Using the os x script I get connected at 4800.

I am *very* frustrated with this. The scripts should work ( maybe they are working?). I should be able to get a much higher baud than that.... at least 19200. Can anyone one think of something I may have done wrong? and, does any one have any modem scripts they *know* will work. I have more than T39m's if its suppose to be for a different phone.

Are there any other ways to screw the connection speed?

-Morgan
