Developing AFP UAM (User Authentication Module) for Mac OS X ?

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a Development toolkit for developing AFP
UAMs (User Authentication Modules) for Mac OS X?

The only relevant kit I found on Apple's website is the AppleShare IP 6.3
kit ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/AppleShare_IP_6.3/
which is for MacOS 8/9 only (as is the sample code for a PGP UAM module at
http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/Sample_Code/Networking/PGPuam.htm ).

I have also downloaded the MacOS X Developer Tools (April 2002 edition)
from http://developer.apple.com/tools/macosxtools.html but that contains
no mention of UAM development (unless I missed something in there).

Despite all this, it is certainly possible to develop UAMs under MacOS X,
as Microsoft provides one for NTLMv2 style authentication:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/win2ksfm/default.asp

Thanks in advance,
I.
