Any idea how to get the bytes info ???

FWIW, What I did to get rough data is to send a special block at the beginning of a large string of packets, and a special block at the end, and measured timing between these blocks.

I'm not trying to get the info only when I send data, but when other apps send/receive data.

What I need is exactely what NetMonitor or IPNetMonitor do : check every second how many bytes have been sent/received on a specific interface and calculate a data rate.
