Having issues obtaining an IP in one of our networks (see below), is this the
right command?
root# ifconfig eth0 hw ether 00:01:02:03:04:05 (example)
Problem:
Error Failover 0 04011 Failover: as main for 24.34.xx.xx, the backup server
NAKed a DHCPBNDUPD message about Lease: 65.96.xx.xx. The reason was: 'less
critical binding information'. The associated message was: Lease:
65.96.xx.xx is shown to be leased to client Host: 'x1-6-00-03-93-71-xx-xx'
MAC: '1,6,00:03:93:71:xx:xx' in this server's database, but the DHCPBNDUPD
message requested that it be set to other-available. The leased state will
take precedence, an The state serial number in the NAK was: 1195 while that
in the original message was: 1201.
Thank you,
