Mounting remote volumes w/MS UAM

  • Subject: Mounting remote volumes w/MS UAM

I have a program based on TN 1111 that remotely mounts AppleShare volumes. It works just fine when connecting to a Mac using the Apple UAM under Classic and OSX. Now I have to connect to an AppleShare volume on Win2K. Using the MS UAM under Classis works just fine, but the OSX version fails with a -5002 (Bad UAM) error. The only change in my code is the UAM name which was changed from Apple Std UAM to Microsoft V1.0. I got these values by using the GetVolMountInfo routine in the MoreFiles sample code. I also looked in the info.plist in the MS UAM's (OSX) resource and tried a couple of the strings listed there to no avail. Can someone help me out here, I'm at a loss as to what to do here. I should also note that this program has no user interface, no A5 world setup, so if using the MS UAM requires this, I'm kind of dead in the water as this program needs to run invisibky.
Thanks!
