Hi,
Is there any reason why OTInetGetInterfaceInfo should not return my
ethernet/mac address if I have configured my machine for modem PPP.

For one thing, it's possible that 'my ethernet/mac address' is not well-defined. If you have multiple ethernet interfaces (e.g., built-in and airport), which is "mine"?

Also, unless OTInetGetInterfaceInfo takes some sort of handle to an interface, rather than assuming you want info for "the active one", there's no way for it to know which one you want.

I could see why this fails, but I still need to get the Ethernet address.

I'm not sufficiently familiar with OT, but is there a way to enumerate existing (not-necessarily-active) interfaces?

Regards,

Justin
