authorizing and application for changing network setup

Hello !!

My application needs to modify the network setup of the computer.

I need to duplicate the current network set (if it wasn't already done), and change the dialup parameters.

This works great using MoreSCF and the system configuration framework, but it requires that my app run as root (with the SetUID bit).

I would like to use the security framework to grant my app this privilege, if possible without the help of an helper tool (it seems the system configuration application do this).

Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this ?

Thank you

Jerome Duquennoy
