CFNetwork lightweight HTTP server example?

  • Subject: CFNetwork lightweight HTTP server example?

I am looking to execute the following tasks in a Mac OS X application:

- await and respond to incoming HTTP requests (actually XML documents)
- do something based upon that data
- send back XML over HTTP

The number of requests aren't expected to be large, so I'm just looking for
a very lightweight listen/reply mechanism. Starting to look around led me
to CFHTTP.

Am I going in the right place and is there any sample code beyond Echo /
Echo Client that would be good starting points for this exercise?
Eventually I want to plug this into an Obj-C based app.

Thanks for any pointers and help you can provide-

Chris
