Well, yes, maybe. But please take a look over the rim...:
There are other countries outside the USA where ISDN is very cheap and
often the only choice!
To use it with a dialup connection you need two phone lines, and in
most cases two ISP accounts.
In Germany you have two channels without the SPID nonsense and you can
just use them when you need them...
Alternatives such as cable modem or DSL are much more cost-effective,
work much better, and are a lot faster. Although they still aren't
available in some areas, but that's changing quickly. Plus wireless
broadband is now becoming more widely available.
Hey, I know the USA is big, but the world is really a much bigger
place!
I'm planning to move to Canada in the near future, since I work for a
Canadian company & would like to work on site instead of telecommuting.
