Not so weird. Eudora 6 (beta) has a feature(?) I didn't know about that shrinks long messages in preview mode. Code magically disappears... until you open it in its own window. It seemed strange that everyone was into snipping they're quotes. Sorry about that.

Now can you understand why I had so much trouble with something as simple as bootp ?

By the way. After the last round of input I was able to slap together a rough bootp server that listens for a single client using OT on OS 9 in about an hour!

While this becomes less useful everyday, if anyone else ever needs such crude functionality I'll be happy to share it.
