All,

Does anyone know if there is any way under Mac OS X 10.2.6 to get the WebServices.framework to work with services running on servers with self signed certificates?

I don't think so. There doesn't seem to be any way to get at the underlying CFStream.

On a related note, why does WSMethodInvocationCopySerialization give us back a PLIST instead of the appropriate xml-rpc/soap serialization?

kWSHTTPMessage doesn't seem to be exported, which I thought I might be able to use as a workaround.

I haven't tried very hard yet, but it would be nice to be able to separate the serialization parts from the transport parts. There isn't an obvious way to do that, which is unfortunate because there's no reason why XML-RPC and SOAP have to be transported over HTTP.
