Thank you for the explaination Allan. I now realize that I asked a
general question and expected specific answers. After playing with the
scutil notification functions a bit, I have been able to get an idea of
what I need to look for. As you indicate, what should be watched depends
on what you are doing.
As the project progresses and I get a better idea of what we want to do,
I may ask more questions.
