What should I do make my endpoint stop listening for connections after one connection has been enstablished? The connection is passed to another, non-listening, endpoint, but if I unbind the listening ep after the connection has been accepted by the other ep, the connection is lost (it seems so)

It sounds like you're doing the right thing. Can you describe the symptoms of "the connection is lost". What does OTGetEndpointState say? Have you tried closing the listening endpoint rather than unbinding it? Is this on traditional Mac OS, or Mac OS X, or both?
