I'm looking to do what I thought would be a very simple task: Mount an
AppleShare volume from within my app, given the machine's IP address,
volume name, username, and password. I've read through previous
conversations, documentation, etc., and am still horribly confused. It
looks as though the code in MoreFilesX ought to be the easiest way to
go, or barring that directly using PBVolumeMount. But I can't find a
simple description of how to do it anywhere using either method.
MoreFilesX seems to want a volume reference number at the beginning of
the process, and I have no idea how to get that. PBVolumeMount has two
supporting functions, and I don't know which to call in what order with
what information. Can someone help me sort this out, or point me to
some documentation that doesn't assume I know something I don't?
