I'm trying to use the autopush functions of Open Transport "SAD" module.

What driver are you trying to autopush on top of?

The fact that I_SAD_VML returns -3201 implies that OT can't even find your module. Try using the same code to look for a module that you know exists, such as "tcpm". If that also returns an error, there must be something wrong with your I_SAD_VML code. If it succeeds, you need to look at why OT isn't finding your module.
