Hi all,
Im writing an application that uses a large number of OT endpoints and
uses a lot of bandwidth pretty much constantly.
When its running on its own it appears to be very stable in terms of
memory usage :)
But Ive just noticed a verra weird thing...if I run entourage for a while
and then quit it, my application suddenly surges in its memory usage by
approx 20mb (the amount appears to be related to how long entourage is
running and how much work it has performed), once it has surged it settles
on its new high until entourage is opened and quit again.
The surge occurs in both RAM and VM.
<g> I can think of no possible connection except that they are both fairly
network intensive, so I was wondering whether anyone else out there may be
able to provide me with some insight...
Thanks for any help.
Yours cheerfully,
Andrew Bush
